Is the face on your video call real?
Unmask asks the caller to do a few simple things on camera, checks how their face responds, and tells you how careful to be.

Check a live caller
- Open your call (WhatsApp Web, Meet, Zoom…) in another window or tab.
- Press Share the call window and pick that window. Make the caller's video big.
- Unmask records short clips and tells you what to ask the caller to do.
Optional: drag on the preview to select just the caller's video tile.
Step 1 · Passive scan
Keep the caller's video visible. We'll record 10 seconds without asking them anything.
Running the check
Waking up the server — the first check can take up to 20 seconds.
Result of this check
There wasn't enough clear video to place this on the risk meter.
Why
What you should do
Unmask is a risk check, not proof. It can miss a fake and it can raise a false alarm, so never rely on it alone. It never ends your call, contacts anyone, or tells you who someone is.
